The future of direct marketing is unfolding before us every day. This past Thursday and Friday, I attended the Direct Marketing Association’s Nonprofit Conference in Washington, DC. While there I attended six sessions on integrated direct marketing. No longer is direct mail the only tool in the toolbox. Any direct marketing program that is successful today must be a fully-integrated program that includes mail, phones, web, text messaging, social networking, email, etc.
